The Calgary Flames have five straight losses and will try to get out of the fluke tonight. The St. Louis Blues are coming to play them at 9:30 PM tonight and there are NHL live streams on gamecenter.nhl. espn360.com.
It uses to be close games between these two teams and I believe it will be the same tonight. The Flames have had a tough time in January and I’m sure they have some problems with their self confidence now when they have started falling in the standings. Blues are coming from the lover middle of the standings in the very close Western Conference. They can’t afford to drop points when it is so tight around the playoff spots. They did against the Ducks when they lost a 3-0 lead to a 4-3 loss in the third period. That’s typically for the Blues. Bad third periods.
The Flames are desperate and the Blues are hungry for revenge after the last game. It is a great set up for a close game with and I think it is going to be just a few goals. Kiprusoff is good in the net for the Flames and they are bad offensively at the moment. Iginla hasn’t scored in ten games for example. Ty Conklin is starting for the Blues and that might open up for the Flames offense to get it going. But I don’t bet at any of the teams. I choose less than 5.5 goals instead.
